Easter card with a little bird.

Hello!!

Today I have this Easter card to show you. I am using a couple of my clear stamps. The bird is from a new baby set, you can find it here, and the sentiment is from my Easter girl clear stamp set.

I colored the bird with Copic markers and added a background of little birds using grey ink. This is a very cute and easy card to do. Very fast too! you can make several in not time.

I hope like it! You can find this card for sale here.

April new release at Kinda Cute. Day 5.

And...the new release is at the store. I hope you liked the previews and the images that I have this month. These won't probably be the only digis that I add in the store this month, so if you want to know more, join my Facebook group so you stay tuned.

For this card I am using Gymnast digital stamp. I think it is perfect for girl cards. Since it is a girl haha. For the background I used several of my clear stamps, you can find them here.

Have a great rest of the day!

Hugs,

Patricia

April new release at Kinda Cute. Day 4

Hello!!

Today I have to show you this digital stamp from the new releases that will arrive on April 5th at the store.

I colored her with Copic markers and cut her around with scissors. The die is from Law Fawn.

I am sorry if my posts are short. Most of the time I don't remember how I made the card and I don't have much time left to blog.

Hugs,

Patricia

April new release at Kinda Cute. Day 3.

Hello!!

I managed to make a card for Day 3 of the new releases! I hope you like the little baby seal on its ice block.

I made a congratulations card for a new baby. I used an embossing folder with waves and I colored the baby seal with Copic markers.

In two days the new release will be available in my store. Meanwhile, join my Facebook group to see what the rest of the members are making with the Kinda Cute Stamps!

Patricia

April new release at Kinda Cute. Day 2.

Hi!!

In my attempt of making more scenery I made this digital stamp for the new release. Now I will have to make Don Quijote and Sancho Panza (I don't know how they are called in English, sorry).

I colored again using my Copic markers, just because my Spectrum Noir are very bad and I basically don't like them much.

For the card I used scraps of paper and a sentiment from one of my clear stamps set that you can find here. It has the sentiment in Spanish too so that is good (I think).

I will be back another day with a different card. I don't know if I will be able to blog the card for the day 3 of the new release. I didn't make it yet haha. If not.. I will be back on Thursday! Check my Facebook group to see all the details or my Instagram page so you don't miss anything!

Hugs,

Patricia

April new release at Kinda Cute day 1

Hello!!

Today is the day 1 of the previews for the new release. I have this little bear digital stamp that I colored with Copic markers.

For the card I used things that I already had around. I didn't think much about making this design, to be honest. In fact, I am pretty sure that the front panel is cut like that because I messed something up.

The stars were made using a stencil (I made the stencil a long time ago with my Cricut machine) and some yellow pigment ink. I was surprised it wasn't dry because I don't use it very often.

The sentiment is printed and the little bear is raised from the card using foam tape.

I hope you like the card and the first digi from the new release! Available on April 5th.

Hugs,

Patricia

Blow your candle...

Hello!

I hope you are not bored of my cards. This is the last one this week, I promise.

I am using dragon and cupcake digital stamp that I colored using pencils. I thought I had the colors but apparently I don't. And since I colored it a while ago...I don't remember if I did it with prismacolor or with Faber Castell polychromos. If I find the colors somewhere, I will post the chart in my Pinterest page.

The background was embossed with a Cuttlebug embossing folder and the sentiment is from one of my clear stamps.

I hope you like the card and you have a wonderful weekend!

Hugs,

Patricia

Kraft card with a cupid

Kraft tag with happy cupid digital stamp

Hello!

I love this image (is that a bad thing to say when I draw it?). Anyway. I had to color it again and I tried this time using prismacolor pencils in kraft cardstock.

The image is called Happy Cupid (from my last release in January). The sentiment I don't know where it came from. Well, I know where, I bought it in Goodwill but it was uncounted and I don't have a clue the brand. Sorry.

I hope you liked the tag!

Hugs,

Patricia

CAS card with a mermaid

CAS card using a mermaid digital stamp

Hi!!

For today I have this super simple CAS card. It is basically only the coloring of the stamp.

The digital stamp is called Mermaid in shell 2. Why? Because I already have a mermaid in shell from a while ago and I did a different version because hey, I improve with time...

I colored the image with copic markers. Here are the colors:

I hope you liked the card!

Birthday card with a little unicorn

Birthday card using Unicorn with cotton candy digital stamp

Hello!

I am back today with this birthday card I made. I don't usually make cards with patterned paper, but I love it, so I have a lot in my Stash. I will try to use it more often because if not...what I am supposed to do with it?

For the card I am using Unicorn with cotton candy digital stamp, colored with copic markers. The sentiment is from Happy Little Stampers and I cut the white panel with a die cut from CC Designs.

I hope you liked the card!

Hugs,

Patricia

Teacher appreciation card with a dog

Hello!

This week I am sponsoring Passionate Paper Creations Facebook group and I decided to post a card for each day I am sponsoring. Hey... what I can do I do. I don't even believe that I had the time, but I actually dedicated one day to make projects, although if I post so often I will be done soon.

For the card I am using one clear stamp set from Stampendous for the sentiment and the background. I don't know the name but it is one that has Changuito and things form the school. I use it quite often I think (taking into account that I hardly ever use any at all haha).

The little dog is one of the dogs from my set at Kinda Cute by Patricia Alvarez called Dog digital stamp set (so ingenious!). And the graduation cap is... a stamp that I made and I didn't released yet and I don't  know when I am going to do it but better do it soon. I guess it is nice that if I need something I can just draw it and use it. I don't do this very often because it is kind of unfair that I have it and you know but...life.

I hope you liked the card and you have a wonderful day!

Hugs,

Patricia

Birthday tag with a little dog

Hello!

I am back again today with a little tag. Very festive, but I wanted to make it only in brown colors so I used craft cardstock and brown markers.

I cut the tag with a die cut from MFT and I stamped cupcakes with Versamark ink. I used clear embossing powder. I don't know where this stamp came from. So I would say it is from "my stash".

For the colored pieces, I used a couple of sets from my store. The dog is from the Dog digital stamp set and the Birthday filler digital stamp set. I use them separately, although I could have just prepare the images in the software and then print. I like to print a bunch and cut them and then I color them as I need them. It is very useful when you need to make quick projects.

I colored the digital stamps with Copic markers and glue them to the tag. At the top I added a brad and a purple ribbon.

And that is all the tag!

I hope you like it!

Hugs,

Patricia

My first pop up card

Hello!

I am back again with a new card. In this case is a mini card. 2.5x2.5 inches folded. And this is the first pop up card that I made. It only took me one hour and a half (and the little cat was already colored). I loved making it but i really need to be faster at it haha.

The cat is from a stamp set of Paper Smooches called Chubby Chums. I have this set for a very long time. I love it! I cut the pop up and the rectangles where the sentiments are with dies from Lawn Fawn and My Favorite Things.

The sentiment "make a wish is from one of my stamps sets, you can find it here. The Happy birthday sentiment I don't recall. I made this card a long time ago and I don't usually write down the stamps I use. Besides, I have a lot of sets of dies and stamps where I don't have written where they came from!

The little cat was colored with watercolors in watercolor paper. I should do more watercolors, they are fun, but it takes so long to finish...

I hope you liked the little card. Have a great day!!

Hugs,

Patricia

Cupid purple card

purple valentine's day card

Hello!!

The new release is already in the store and I have this card as my last one for the new release. This was the first Cupid that I draw and I thought it would be so cute in purple!

I call this digi Cupid with bow and arrow, which is not very clever since my other have bow and arrow too haha, but I am not very good at adding names to my digis.

I colored it with Copic markers (I am sorry, the Spectrum Noir are not my friends anymore) and I added some glue dots at the back, so ti is a little elevated from the card base. The card base was made stamping stars in black ink and coloring them with markers. I added a couple of purple stripes to embellish a little. You know I am not all about embellish things.

And that is all about the card. You can check the new release here and remember that if you subscribe to my store newsletter you can save a 15% in your first order.

Hugs,

Patricia

Valentine's day card with a lizard

Hi there!

It is day 3 and I have a very CAS card with a little of embossing. I made this little lizard last month and I thought it was too cute for not including him in the new release. Its name is Valentine's Lizard,  you can find it here

The digital is colored with Copic markers. I have a video about it that I will post soon in my channel. The coloring was...interesting. I guess I had and idea in my mind and then it didn't work as I thought. I should have planned better the colors. It was so bright that I tried to tone it down and to get it to look not so bad I added some dots with my blender. At the end I think the result is great which I am glad. I usually (unless it's a very big mistake) tend to finish what I started. It usually can be fixed some way or another.

I used some die cuts from Paper Smooches and use glossy accents to give them so shine. The embossing folder is from a Fiskars embossing plate I think.

I hope you liked the card and you have a wonderful day!

Hugs,

Patricia

CAS Valentine's day card

Hello!!

I am back with another card using an image for the new release, available in a couple of days at the store

I used the digital stamp called Cupid and marshmallow. I colored it with Copic markers and cut it with scissors. I used foam tape to glue it to the card base.

The card base is made using a splatter of green and red watercolors and I added with red markers a frame. The sentiment was stamped with black ink and it is a stamp from Hero Arts.

Thank you for stopping by!

Hugs,

Patricia

I am back! And I have a preview of my new release

Valentine's card using Happy Cupid digital stamp

Happy New Year!!!

New year...new things...changes....

I know I told you that I wasn't going to continue with my blog a few months ago. I made a couple of polls and apparently people would be very happy if I continue Kinda Cute Cards, so I am back. Also, I have been very busy during these months and I have new projects made that I never showed to anybody and it is just sad.

So... in this past few months I have been working in my store as much as I could, although it is never enough. I tried to have fun and I have to admit, that at some moments it wasn't much fun. Moments where I though "why I am doing this?". Fortunately, although sometimes there are doubts, I manage to keep at it. To be honest, the digital stamps weren't part of my plan in the beginning of my business. Crafters asked me to sell my illustrations, and after thinking about it, I started selling clear and digital stamps. I will keep offering digital stamps for as long as I can, but I don't discard the idea of stop doing it in the future if I can't keep up with everything. I always wanted to design with my images, that is why I have my Zazzle shop and I sell printables in my store, but I want to illustrate a couple of children's books I have written too. This year I hope I can focus on designing and illustrating more seriously.

On a brighter note! I have a new release this month and it will be available on January 4th. I will have 4 new digital stamps and I will be showing them to you in the next four days.

For today's card I am using Happy Cupid digital stamp.  I colored it with Copic markers and I cut it out with scissors. The background is made using a clear stamp from Stampendous I think, from an alphabet set, and I color the hearts with markers too. In case you don't remember, I tend to do very CAS projects and I hardly ever use patterned paper. I am starting to use it more now. I do love embossing folders too.

I have a video coloring this image, but I still have to post it in my YouTube channel. I hope I can do that next week ;).

I hope you liked the card and I didn't bore you much with my rambling. Feel free to pin the color chart for future reference.

Have a great New Years day!

Hugs,

Patricia

Baby card with a little duck

Hello!

We have another challenge at Inspiration Destination and this time I sponsor the challenge so, if you want to win some kinda cute images, head to the blog and enter your creations.

On a sadder note, this will be my last challenge at Inspiration Destination. As you already know I am busy with a lot of thing. I am planning on not updating this blog or its related social media accounts. I have my other blog at kindacutebypatricia.blogspot.com where I showcase my stamps with the amazing work of my DT. I will be posting my projects there too when I have them, which, sadly, it is not too often :(. If you want to keep seeing my projects and what I am doing, follow me on Instagram or join my Facebook group.

Anyway, for this card I am using Little Duck clear stamp (although you can find it as digital stamp too). I colored it with distress inks. For the background I use some clear stamps from Fiskars, as well as the sentiment.

I hope you like the card and you have time to enter the challenge.

Hugs and see you around ;)

Using Prismacolor pencils for a birthday card

Prismacolor pencils birthday card using baker girl

Hello!

I hope you are doing well! Today I have this card using Baker girl clear stamp for our challenge over at Inspiration Destination. The theme is anything goes and the twist is to use a real stamp. So here it is.

I used prismacolor pencils. Feel free to pin the image for future reference. The embossing folder is from Darice and I don't remember which brand I used for the sentiment. Sorry about that.

I hope you like the card I have for today and you have time to enter to our challenge!
